Progress With Businesses Maintaining a Clean Outdoor Space
At our last cleanup, our volunteers were brave enough to clean up the upper downtown even through some of the coldest times. Our team rewarded those hardy people with hot chocolate and cookies for their efforts.
We are making headway by asking businesses to help keep the sidewalks in front of their businesses clean. Letters have been sent to some, but with the new and vibrant 16th Street Mall open and more visitors coming downtown, we hope to keep our streets clean and welcoming to visitors.
Now that the weather is warming, we hope to see more volunteers helping on the first Saturday of each month.
